Fan is coming on

I just got my 2009 Chevy Impala water pump
replace just got the radiation flush oil change
everything in the fan is still coming on and the
Cooling gauge is still showing that is running hot

Should have changed out the thermostat while you were at it.

Who ever changed your water pump may have hit the sending unit to your temp. gage. Have that checked or replace.
