Question type: General

My air was working fine and now 3 hours after
driving the car when I get in the air only blows
regular air. When I push the compressor button it
flashes for a second. Any ideas?

Yep it sounds like you a leak in the system and you will need to add some refrigerant. to save a whole lot of money go to a good auto parts store and purchase the A/C pro it's a $45.00 and get the one that has the gauge on it and follow the instructions.

Forgot it was just charged at the dealership in June and they put in a passenger side air filter. Oh and what do you know about the knocking sound it seems these cars are famous for. It under the dash. The car was a gift from my stepdad 2 weeks ago. The air has been freezing us out even with the knocking which only last a minute and now nothing. There's been no freon coming out of the vents like I've seen with leaks. Gonna try the stuff you're talking about I just would have thougt the dealership checked for leaks. My stepdad had all that done.
