CV Joint or Transmission?
I have a 2009 Ford Focus with 80K.
The car began making a loud grinding noise when turned hard to the left or right. It
progressively got worse until it sounded like metal on metal grinding, then stopped
working.
The engine runs fine but will not move when shifted in/out of gear (automatic
transmission). Additionally, the car will roll when in park. Its like the transmission isn't
engaged.
Does this spound like a CV joint problem or a transmission problem?
