How do i find which transmission i have on a 2009 Lincoln Town Car?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm being told to swap & i need the part # (AA,CA or DA). The Vin does not
identify this part. I have called Ford & Lincoln reps with no luck.

There should be a tag on the transmission with the information you need. Jim

Thank you Jim! I guess my question was more where do i find that tag? I have been able to find that info after more research.
