Throttle overrun

Just purchased a 2009 Nissan Versa with a
new factory installed transmission. Car has
120k miles on it. When I was merging on
the tollway, the car was dragging even
though I was heavy on the accelerator. It
was dragging.  Any thoughts?  I read
something about throttle calibration?

Maybe your brakes were sticking or you have a dirty filter (fuel or air)
