FAN WON'T TURN OFF WHETHER I HAVE THE AIR CONDITIONER ON OR OFF. HOW CAN I TURN IT OFF?

THE FAN IS ON HIGH AND WON'T TURN OFF.

look on the fan motor(s) for the wires. trace them as far backwards as you can looking for imperfection(s). if theres a cut in wire receiving power from another wire, causing it to run, at least clean the wire and wrap it with black electrical tape. then trace them/it to the temp switch on the engine. look for it to be on the thermostat housing or intake, and/or on the radiator if theyve started doing that

Could be the resistor. That's what made mine go weird in my contour/fusion
