Silverado Cluster Question

We have a 2009 silverado truck the choices for driving are P R N D 3 2 1 it is automatic so Isnt the 2009 6 speed Hydromatic transmission supposed to have "M" mode ? Also it doesn't let me select anything past D the underline indicator disappears. The compass and temp gauge aren't working aswell. Has anyone else dealt with this ?
