From the manual: Using your Mercedes-Benz specified mobilephone, a number of functions and operating steps can be performed and displayed in the audio system display.Further operating instructions not covered here can be found in the operating instructions for the multifunction steering wheel and the mobile phone.If your audio system is set up for telephone operation, the t symbol will appear in thedisplay.When you insert your Mercedes-Benz specified mobile phone into the mobile phonecradle, you will be prompted to enter your PINfor 30 seconds (Y page 162). This displaydisappears when you press any button.When your mobile phone is inserted into themobile phone cradle, you will see thereception strength in the upper right-handcorner of the display.Switching on the telephoneSwitching on the telephoneXPress button h.If you have programmed an unlock code forthe telephone, you must now enter thecode.XEnter code using buttons 1 to R.XIf necessary, correct number entered withthe CLR soft key. Press soft key briefly todelete the last digit entered; press soft keyand hold to delete the complete number.XPress OK soft key after entering correctcode.The telephone is unlocked. If you have entered an incorrect code, you must enter the correct code.Switching off the telephoneXPress button h for approximately threeseconds.PROCESSING appears in the display untilthe telephone is off. Afterward, PHONEOFF appears in the display.
