2009 Chrysler Sebring randomly starts without a key!

Asked by GuruD17LG Dec 19, 2017 at 08:21 PM about the 2009 Chrysler Sebring Limited Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How is my 2009 Chrysler Sebring able to
randomly start itself? It can be parked on the
street, in a garage or anywhere else and
start up at any given moment. The vehicle
appears to be remote-start equipped, but the
remote keyfob was not being pressed or
disturbed in any way... just lying on the table
with the keys. Any ideas why this happens?

Perhaps someone within the range of your receiver is triggering your system
