Is it normal for my 09 Dodge Avenger to have the temperature half way after driving about 5 miles

Asked by DuffDaddy Apr 03, 2018 at 01:40 PM about the 2009 Dodge Avenger SXT FWD

Question type: General

My wife drove out 09 Dodge avenger about 5 miles and noticed that the temperature was exactly half way, is this normal?  The car has 34000 miles on it, and has been serviced regularly.

Thanks, Duff

Yes I have an 08 it heats up quick but never has it ran past halfway or even run hot it's the 4cyl with almost 300 thousand miles. Keep her serviced and she'll run like a champ. Obviously there's always exceptions to every rule but this is a good all around car and motor
