2009 nissian Altima 2.5

My 2009 nissan altima will
not start. A day before this
happened my mom was
stranded at the grocery
store because of a bad
battery on her car. A friend
of mine tried to jump her off
of my car but it didn't work.
So he proceeded to take my
battery off while the my car
was running to try and jump
her that way. Well it worked
so he pit my battery back on
and I went home. I turned
my car off tried to turn it
back on and nothing. The
next day same thing only
now my key light is on. Can
someone please tell me
what is going on with it????

Your battery might need to be replaced and is weak. Remove it from the car and have an auto part store test it for free or you can test it yourself. See if your friend has a multimeter to check the voltage. It needs to be around 12.5.
