Parasitic battery drain

Asked by Jan Aug 07, 2023 at 08:42 PM about the 2009 Nissan Pathfinder SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2009 Nissan Pathfinder 4.0. I have been
having it for 2 years, and have had a parasitic battery
drain for 2 years where the battery would be dead and
tested bad every 3 months give or take. Within the
last 3 weeks I have put a test light on the negative
cable and pulled out every fuse under the hood and in
the vehicle and the test light didn't go out. Today I
disconnected the alternator and put the test light on
the negative cable and the test light didn't go out. I
am at a loss as to where I should go now. I'm
researching and thinking either the positive side, or a
battery maintenance sensor. Any suggestions would
be greatly appreciated.
