Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is it age or miles driven that can wear out the hybrid battery?

Both. Discharge cycles are probably one of the biggest factors.

These batteries last 10+ years. There are now companies replacing them for a lot less then dealers. No on makes their own batteries. There are only a few companies making the batteries, and sell them to dealers. There are hybrids with 200K - 350K on them.
