dodge charger 09 3.5L

i was going to walmart and my car let off water and right when i got home my
car over heated bad with had no more coolant and i try putting some all it did
was just leaked throw the bottom... would it be the water pump? please help

It may be one of the radiator hoses. You or someone mechanically inclined will have to inspect the coolant system. A water pump may leak, but it would be a slow leak compared to a busted hose. Fill the rad with water and track down the leak. Since you'll be replacing all the coolant after fixing the leak, now is a good time to replace the thermostat and radiator cap as well. FYI, here is a quick summary of common coolant leaks: radiator hoses, heater hoses, cracked thermostat housing, water pump gasket, radiator, radiator petcock.

i got the thermostat and water pump ima slap it on today or on monday lets see if thats the problem
