Avalanche will start but wont stay started when you take
your foot off of the gas it dies change the fill filter and
mass air flow what is wrong

You've scanned it for trouble codes, right? What showed up? If you haven't scanned, do that next. Also check fuel pressure. Perhaps a failing fuel pump?
