Transmission erratic, sometimes only reverse and nothing else

I have a 2009 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab with the
optional six-speed automatic transmission.
Reverse seems to be the only gear that works
problem started a couple months ago and it will
not go into any gear at all other than reverse
intermittently. Took the pan off cleaned everything
the best I could, new filter, checked the fuses
check wiring harnesses best I could, I know
absolutely nothing when it comes to electrical
problems, also keep in mind no gear went out
before the other it just stopped going into drive
even in the manual option 1st through 6th there's
nothing I'm at an absolute loss please please get
my Silverado back on the road, I'm going to have a
mid midlife crisis if I don't get my Z71 crew cab on
the road, it did throw off some codes lost
communication with the transmission control
module lost communication with transfer case,
anything will help
