I need to change the plugs and wires on my 09 Silverado. It has 180,000 miles and I don't think they ever been changed. What is the likelihood of them breaking while removing? Thanks!

The likelihood of breaking them is low if you use a proper spark plug socket. You may also want to get a swivel head ratchet and short extension so you can turn the socket in line with the plug.

Thanks Gary. I was able to get them all replaced though one near the back took some time as it was difficult to reach (my small extension was still too long with the ratchet head attached). I appreciate the help. Gregg

Looking into buying a 09 chevy silverado is running good right now. a good body on it.but what scares me it has 180,000 miles on it..do you think that's to many miles..

The truck could last a lot longer if it was well taken care of. Have a mechanic inspect it before buying. Be prepared to spend money on repairs when buying a high mile vehicle.
