I was wanting to know if you need to unhook the battery when u put new fuses
in, I was trying to put one in with the battery hooked up and it sparked and
melted the ends of my new fuse I was putting in.

Whenever you're dealing with anything electrical in your car (from ignition coils to the fuse box), its best to disconnect the battery to avoid injury (shock, electrical fire, etc). Better safe than sorry! --Frank
