Heat and air

I have a 2009 Jeep 4x4 the heat will only
blow out in the face it will not turn on
defrost I look for vacuum lines coming out
of the heater core box but I don't see any is
this electronic in this year

It's electronic. It's called blend door actuator and it's controlled by climate control switch. Google it and it'll tell you how to troubleshoot and parts that might be bad.
