2009 edge limited brakes

I bought a 09 edge limited about a month ago and
on occasion the brakes seem to not work very
well...when i press down i feel a griding...reminds
me of trying t ok stop in the snow or
something...anyone have any ideas? I do have a
12k warranty and brakes are covered

My 2011 Ford Edge started having that same issue and eventually I had to replace the rotor ,brake booster and the master cylinder. $1,000 worth of work, now I'm dealing with their crappy 3.2 motor and the water pump. This is my last Ford and I suggest you sell it
