2009 mini cooper clubman s does it have hood insulation?

My son purchased a 2009 mini cooper clubman s.  it has no hood insulation.  is this correct?

Yes, but you can get a kit to do it yourself. There is some aluminum foil type that I have seen some miniacs use as well. Good Luck
