installed cheapy old standard wire kit there was 5going in little box and 4 coming out of old one went to 4in and 4 out . now no remote star??????????????????????????

Wellll ,first is:"...installed cheapy old standard wire kit..." just because the box says its a wire kit for a Toyota; doesn't guarantee it its the correct one for your vehicle and being a "cheepy" just about guarantees that. So best thing to do is go to ether a national auto parts store (O'Rileys, Auto Zone etc.) or the dealer parts counter and ask them for help. Even if you don't buy from any of them; at least you will know what you are supposed to have. Then you can also check on line for your part and how much it costs compared to the stores. That way you can get the correct part . There is a reason your Toyota came with 5 wires and what you need to get is a correct replacement, so your vehicle will work like it should . Good Luck
