Problem starting

Asked by Good_truck Feb 10, 2017 at 06:41 PM about the 2009 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Quad Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The truck has 228,000 miles on it and has performed like
a champ.  However after the  Engine  is warm, often but
not always, it will not fire on the initial starting  attempt.  It
just keeps cranking until I turn the key back off, but it will
instantly starts on the second try every time.  It almost
sounds like it is out of gas when it does this.  This is
becoming more common lately.  I did replace the fuel
pump  and filter at about 170,000 miles.

Leaking injectors, injector wring, clean the throttle body and do a complete tuneup including wires

I was just starting to think maybe dirty injectors/ Throttlebody. I am notorious for letting the low fuel indicator come on
