While my air conditioner is on there is a hissing
noise under the hood. What would that be and how
do I fix/replace it?

Sounds like a vacuum leak,only thing to do is try and chase it down neutralise it

    Outside air into the passenger cabin is warm even when the outside temperature is cold. This is without having the air conditioner turned on, and the selection dial turned to cold.
