Audi A4 2009 not turning on

I have a Audi A4 Quattro 2009. I was driving to work
when suddenly my car began shaking horribly and it
started to smell like gas, and the engine like started
flashing so I got off the freeway and pulled over.
When I went bad to turn on the car and it kept
shaking really bad so I turned it off once more and
then wouldn't even turn back on. I have no idea
what it is and at least want to have an idea before I
take it to another shop. This had happened before
and I had got it "fixed" by another mechanic and it
got even worse. Any suggestions?

Clearly your car has a major problem. Without knowing the trouble codes I could only guess.

What did your last mechanic do? Good to get it diagnosed (by someone else or an audi dealer), its possible the last guy's fixed caused this or maybe it was part of a larger issue.

My daughters car just did the exact same thing while she was parking at school. Engine began to shake and she smelled gas. But hers started back up with no problems. She has 2009 A4 that had oil consumption fix at 80k miles and now has 103k miles. Please let me know what you found out it was.
