ABS light and Break light on the dash come on

My ABS and break lights lon the dash came on.  When I applied the breaks it was as if the ABS was coming on (on dry pavement) but not as strong as you would expect under say winter/slippery conditions.  What is the problem?

make sure that the emergency brake is not on that will turn both lights on also if the brake fluid is low that will turn on both lights.

E brake definitely not on and fluid resevoir is full and fluid looks like it is in good condition (redish/orange).

NO,10 min,youre done.if you have acc to a air compressor,blow them clean with air hose.
