2009 Nissan Sentra Driving in Reverse

I was going to pull out of a drive way so i put the car in reverse and it started driving forward.

In no way, the 2 gears should mix up if put in the right position. There is the Neutral between the two of them. Is it the first time it's occuring? Go to your mechanic or dealership and get your transmission / shiftstick looked at. Is your warranty expired?
