Tire makes a weird clunking/knocking noise
I have a 2009 Optima, and I left it sitting for about
1.5-2 weeks (I know that was not a good idea). I got
in to drive it on Saturday and everything was fine for
the first mile. Then a strange knocking noise started
getting louder and faster as the car sped up. Now
the knocking noise isn't constantly loud but it still
happens. As far as visual inspection goes there's
no stray pieces of metal sticking out in the wheel
well, the brakes are about middle of the road (not
the best but not needing to be changed), and the
shocks look to be in pretty good shape. Any ideas
what could be making the noise? I drove it for a
total of about 5 miles on Saturday and it made the
noise the entire time.
