Replaced cooling fan relay. Sometimes
the fan stays on after turning off the car

They can run for a few or several minutes after turning off a car. If it runs for a lot longer, then you may have a problem with a relay or computer module.

The car doesn't overheat at all. It drains my battery if fan is running when the car is shut off. If I pull the cooling fan relay it will stop running. This happens once month at least

Could just be a sticking fan relay. That can cost about 20-30 to replace. Check the underhood fuse/relay box. You can test the current relay, but you'll need a multimeter to do so. Google for instructions.
