why is my battery light coming on?.

my battery light comes on I had the battery and alternator checked both came back good what is the problem?

The battery light coming on means there is a problem with the charging system. Get it checked out.

Yes it most likely is an electrical problem. Also check to see if the belt is turning the alternator when the engine is running.

This also could be an issue with your tensioner pulley, not keeping the belt tight enough to turn the alternator.
