Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2010 Ford fusion sometimes it will die while
driving and then you have to jump it with a jump
box and when you do it about kills a fully charged
jump box. I just had the battery and the alternator
replaced. It has turned the lights on and off and
locked and unlocked the door so driving, it has the
alarm off sometimes if you stop and park, but don’t
turn off it won’t let you turn the car back into gear

Has the vehicle experienced any voltage drops or power surges? If it has then stop there and get it to a Ford dealer from computer flash and updating, if not then the first thing to do is, hookup a memory saver tool into the OBD 2 port, then check and clean all grounds, especially ECM and BCM grounds, there are a lot of grounding points so you might need a component locator to find them, after it is put back together then see if you problems have gone, if not then I suggest the dealer for computer checks.
