Can I put "regular" tires on a 2010 Mazda 3 and not the original "bike" tires??!

My car has the original thin tires on it. My wife would like regular tires on it. Can this be
done??

According to Edmunds.com, 2010 Mazda 3 comes stock with P205/55R16 tires. That's not 'thin'....if somebody put narrow tires, the first number is 205mm's. go back to that, it is what the manufacturer specifies
