Check engine light

The OBD two diagnostics is powered through fuse #21 in the dash board fuse block. I am guess the scan tool did not "light up" and the tech thinks there's no code. Not so. The check engine light is triggered when there is a stored code. He just didn't find it. Try again at an auto parts store and have it scanned for free. They will explain, and you can google the codes for more information.
