You may, but , you may also need a ring and valve job. Why do you think you need a head gaskets job? Are they leaking?

185,000 miles is not unreasonable for some engine work. Most cars go 200,000 miles or more. How much oil burning are you talking about?

every 2000 miles or so oil is down below 2nd line on oil stick - I am checking it frequently and adding oil as needed. No leaks, as far as I can tell

my 2010 camry is now doing the same and I am at 150k miles ..... the noise of the car when I first start it is ridiculous especially when starting at a cold start (after about 4 hours). But then when you start it again, you don't hear anything. The dealer confirmed that my car is burning oil but that nothing else is wrong with it and that they would have to take the engine apart piece by piece to figure out why its burning oil ..... I don't understand. someone help me :(
