How do I brighten the illumination of my separate AC and Radio?
The illumination of the AC and radio are both washed out in daylight. They
are separate units and are not connected to the regular dashboard dimmer.
At night the are fine but the lights seem to turn off during the day and the
separate screens are unreadable.

You might want to check the "Owner's Manual"...just to make sure we are no missing a settings adjustment built into the display.
I'm not ready to give up, yet. If I could find the sensors that turn the illuminating light on could I cover them (with tape)? Would that fool them into thinking it is dark and turn the lights on? Does anyone know where the sensors are? Thanks, anyway.

Is this panel a LED or LCD display? Try rotating the trip meter knob with the head lights on...and...off position. Any difference?
No. The knob, which adjusts the dash lights (plus bringing up such things as mpg, distance traveled, outside temp, etc) has no effect on ac and radio illumination. I don't know whether they are LED or LCD displays. Thanks for the suggestions, though. I'm still looking for the sensors.

Did this display ever function correctly? Try this.....some where on your dash there is a sensor which controls the AC System. It looks like a very small button. Just a long shot...try blocking that sensor with a black rag which should deny sunlight and see if that makes a difference.
Also, if you have any items in your dash board remove them. They also may be blocking the sensor.
Go to “setup” then “display” then “brightness” in the lower half of screen.
