'09 Nissan Cube does it have tow wires?

Asked by Doug Jan 25, 2019 at 10:43 AM about the 2009 Nissan Cube SL

Question type: General

I am going to tow the cube behind a MH on a tow dolly.  My
question is, does the cube have a wire that (similar tow the
wire I would plug into the trailer) that would light the brake
lights when I hit the MH brakes?  If so, where do I find it?

Side note:
U-haul did install a hitch and wire harness on the cube, but I
don't know if it also extends to the front.

There will not be any hookup in the front. The tow dolly should have brake lights on it, if not a RV dealer can wire up your Cube. You should also get a brake system for the Cube.

Go to Walmart and they have a four way plug extension for about 12 feet not expensive run it over the car and hook it to the motorhome and the trailer bypass the car it will work fine if the motorhome has a seven way by an adapter at Walmart that has a seven way with a four-way and plug into it cheapest way to go

I do this with a set of magnetic lights that I sit on top of the Cube. I ran the wire through the interior under the carpet, along the driver's side, up and around the door jam and through the engine compartment. The plug sits in the grill area and I connect it to the rv with an extension. I keep the lights in the back when not being towed. I also covered the light bases with a plastic bag because they will scratch the roof paint.
