What is the significance of DTC Codes 5076 and 5078?

I'm getting no where with those numbers. The usual engine codes start with a "P" and have four numbers. Those are the OBD II (On Board Diagnosis) codes. If you can get the codes read at the parts store, write down the numbers and we can look them up.

At: http://www.bentleypublishers.com/tech/vw/vw.dtc.table.htm there is a comprehensive, complete list of VW jetta codes There are hundreds of them. DTC codes are 5 digit numbers, corresponding to PXXX whatever. But no such codes begin with 5.

do you have an owner's manual as these codes are not on the web at all!
