Why is my temperature gauge not moving, n my check engine light on?

First check your coolant level. If there's no coolant, your sensor can't read the temperature.

If your coolant level is fine, drive to an AutoZone or Advance Autoparts and they will read the obd2 code for the check engine light for free. If your coolant it's low, top it off with antifreeze or water before driving anywhere.
