Oil problem BMW 523i

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello. I have a BMW 523i F10 V6 with the capacity of 3000, gasoline from
2010,  I just bought the car from the local BMW Dealer with 104.000 km. I made
in this summer 5000km, and after i made 2000 km i needed to fill the oil level
with 1 liter. On the highway the constant speed was 140 - 160 km/h. It is normal
to consume so much oil ? It is a common problem at this gen of BMW?

1 Answer

Some BMW's do use oil but this amount of oil is not a big deal in my mind. Are you using the correct oil? I might go ahead and change the oil with the correct BMW spec and see how it does,
