That depends if it was part of the package when you purchase the car.
I just got my MKX and the prior owners canceled the Sirus. bummer. Anyway, you can use the navigation without purchasing the additional TRAVEL packages (yes, there are 2 to choose from). One package will give you current traffic congestion and wrecks displayed on your unit, and the other will give you that and other services, like movie times, nearby gas prices, stock info, sport feedback, etc. The first package is apx 1.99 a month and the second is around 5.99 per month. The travel packages are IN ADDITION to the regular Sirus and looks like the travel package can be purchased separately. Good Luck.
Puchased a 2007 MKZ not too long ago. Just received in the mail a free month of Sirus to try. My car is 10 years old. Its amazing they even know I have that option on my car. I've never even tried to use it once. Also it says I can get Sirus after free month for $17.99/mo. You've got to be kidding. I can use bluetooth and run all the music I want off my phone.
