GM's factory powertrain warranty is for 60 months or 100K miles, whichever comes first. So No, you are not covered, unless you had an extended warranty. Pull out your paperwork and see.

Not unless the transmission was replaced by a GM Dealer and it's still in warranty. Check the carfax or have your local Chevrolet Dealer run the VIN to find out. I got lucky that way with a 2002 Impala that I had. Hope that helps! Jim
