Car randomly stops accelerating

My car will be driving fine then randomly it’s
stops accelerating I am able to rev the engine
and some times I catch a little speed to keep
me going but not much at all. Then I’ll turn off
my car let it sit for 15-20 mins turn it on and
it’s fine like nothing ever happened! Anyone
know what could be the problem cause I’m
stumped at this point! Thanks in advance

Is the reduced engine power warning coming on at the same time? Have it scanned for trouble codes. That will give you some guidance.

Um currently having the same problem with my Chevy cobalt. I was wondering if the problem ever got fixed?
