Oil filter seems to be wrong can I use a different oil filter.

I have a 2010 impala when I go buy oil filters for if they just
seem to be to small the filter doesn't even seem to seal
right my question is it calls for a acdelco pf61e and it
seems to be the wrong size to me is there any reason I
can't use a ac delco pf1218 instead it seems to me to be a
better fit

PF61E is the recommended filter. I would continue to use that and do frequent oil changes.

There are more factors that determine which filter is right for your vehicle beyond size and how it feels. The manufacturer knows what filter works for your vehicle better than you. Using something else because you think it "fits better" could lead to serious damage to your engine.
