Air Ride suspension

Asked by Wolffman13 Apr 26, 2020 at 01:35 PM about the 2010 Lincoln Navigator 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We replaced air bags in air suspension system and
put in a new compressor.  The compressor will not
turn on to air up the system.  Fuse is good.  What
can I troubleshoot ??or how can I Hotwire to see if
compressor is good??

You have to drive several miles before the brain will cycle through and recognize the new compressor. I replaced mine started it up, nothing. Ordered another and neighbor told me what happened to him. I drove around block a couple times and it started working. You may have to cycle the air ride switch at passenger firewall behind the side cover.
