8 Quarts my friend, Dealerships usually use Mercedes recommended Mobil 1 full synthetic 0W - 30, 0W - 40, or 5W - 30 depending on the expected climate during the life of the oil change. Dealership also will suck out the old oil from topside, they don't do the drain and re-fill as it takes too much time to remove the shields/ splash guards under the engine assembly. You may want to look at the underside to determine if you want to drop the shields/guards and do the drain. If you go that route its the same as more conventional vehicles from there. Mercedes uses 8 quarts synthetic which allows for that 10,000 change interval. Hope this was helpful, Dave

Only go to the dealer if you want to pay twice what it should cost. Use full synthetic (Mobil or other brand is OK). You should be able to get a full synthetic oil change for about $90. - maybe a little less, depending where you take it.

2011 E350 Wagon 4matic with suction I could only get 1/3 out so I tried the drain nut which was really easy. It takes less 3 minutes to remove the splush guard to get to the drain nut. So would always recommend drain nut.

$60.44 I am not kidding. Full Synthetic Oil change with Mobile 1 and I have 2 quarts left over for the next one. Answer : WALMART. They include 5 quarts and I had to buy another 5 quart bucket for $25. Before you SPEW..... put a hold on the CRAZY: I went there and spoke with the manager. It is a wealthy area and he said they do lots of Mercedes. He told me he would put Dennis on it... I spoke with Dennis before i handed over the keys. They carry FRAM filters, an 8 buck one and an 18 buck one... I got the 18 one. I never would have gone there but a 1500 mile trip came up yesterday and M Benz could not get in. My oil was at 12,000 and I wanted new oil (and detergents) for this trip. They topped off my windshield fluid ($16 at Benz) for free. YES, I went half a block away and I let the car sit for 10 minutes and I checked the levels on the stick... Ohh, and I was able to watch the whole thing as it happened. So, don't write off WALMART... those guys have the training and MOST of em will take the care to do it right. I am SOLD... Hope you have similar experiences because $229 for an oil change is just STUPID THIEVERY. Ohh, YES, they vacuumed the whole car too.

I've been having my Service A & B performed at Mercedes Benz. My car is a 2011 E350 bluetc. Cost has always been between $350 - $550. Was getting ready to have the Service B performed so I stopped at dealership to confirm just exactly what is performed OTHER than CHECKING items. They quoted me $1,600 for the Basic (oil change, engine air filter and pollen dust filter). Sorry, but that is INSANE. I've used this dealership for all my services, Service Tech couldn't explain. Numerous calls have been placed to the Service Manager with no response and then calls left for the General Manager with no response. I guess they don't care about customer service. Struck that dealership from my list. BTW, the dealership is Mercedes-Benz McKinney Texas (owned by Sonic Automotive).

I know of no good reason to take your Benz to a dealer for A or B service. The price they quoted is the norm for a Benz dealer. There isn't anything that cannot be done at an indie shop for MUCH less. Your shop was probably including brake and tranny flush and cabin filters. Filters you can change yourself - if the need it. MB dealers do things by DATE or MILEAGE - regardless of whether the items actually need attention. Find a good indie mechanic and use the money to take a trip. (LOL)

before buy a car write down important questions you like to know, oil engine transmission exhaust system, look under and look all over somethings are visible when you look again and again. run the engine yourself take the key insert the key turn the engine on and turn it off and turn it back on, blow it’s horn, high beam low beam signal lights radio on and off volume down and up, windshield wipers on and off with fluid, open the all doors unlock the doors, lower the windows up the windows up, look at the engine while it’s running open the Trunk look at your emergency tire look at your jack, come one guys why is it so hard to do all these??? Dealers can charge a little more, most mechanics will mess you car they will mess your car up this happens to me many times. Ask the dealer if you can sign up oil charge with them they will give you discounts. If they break something they will replace it free. Other mechanics they will blame the mess on you. Firestone is good place also when I travel I go to them. Kwik mechanics don’t know what they doing they will take everything a part they don’t even know how to put it together.

They just put 8.5 in my 2009 Merc 300, and it busted the seal, at Jiffy Lube. Now, I'm getting the Grease and on my way to the Mersades Shop. Hope the Grease helps, because I'm about to get screwed, again...

Never use "FRAM" oil filters!!! On any auto. Do your home work on them now!!! Or buy a motor later. Your choice.

How many quarts of oil does a Mercedes 2011 e350 take? Engine 3.5

5.5 or 6 or 7 or 8.5 quarts it depends on who you ask. I put 8 in mine and it was showing around 2 quarts over full on the dip stick. So should buy 7 dump in 5 start it for 10 seconds shut it off and check the level on the stick and add if needed. Over full crankcase causes moving parts to contact the oil mixing it with air and causing oil foaming and air bubbles are not a lubricant do not overfill. If your over a little bit like a half of a quart wont hurt anything but not much more than that.
