Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A guy tried to install a/c belt by rotating crank bully forward and backward. Suddenly the car wont start, tried several time. The work shop guy suggest the timing belt adjustment was changed and need to be replaced with bully kit as already 140k km on it. After installing the kit, the car started but on idle only, any touch to the throttle will stop the car!! could it be possible the valves were damaged?? or what?

I think u need to get it towed to someone who knows what they r doing, u dont need to rotate the engine to put any belt on.

The fact that it does at the slightest touch of the gas pedal sounds like he didn't time the engine right.
