Ford explorer radio amplyfier is not working no sound

Has anyone replaced the amplyfier the their ford radio?

It's much less expensive to replace the radio (stock) than have it removed, bench tested, repaired then replaced. If a ford radio is to expensive for you, a knock-off which will fit right in can be had at a much lower price.
