Question type: Maintenance & Repair

did timing chains an put all back together and went to start but wont crank,
fuel guage not working, tracrion control light on, cant hear fuel pump.both
grounds under air box are good and on on front drivers side on block.have
looked all over an cant find anything unplugged or unbolted but cant figure it
out any help appriciated.where else are the grounds on the motor to look for

beatupchevy answered about a year ago

same with any no start situation check for proper fuel pressure spark and injector pulse . Something else may have gone wrong by pure coincidence or maybe the battery is dead

battery did go bad switched that now it cranks but wont start. can hear 1 cylinder fire once in a while but thats it and tiny amount of smoke out the air box
