TPMS

Asked by GuruTDTQY Jan 18, 2019 at 03:31 PM about the 2010 Hyundai Elantra GLS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My TPMS indicators are on solid. I had my sensors checked at a Mavis Tire
store, and they confirmed sensors are good. They could not reset, and said I
would have to go to Hyundai. I went to my local dealer awhile back, and they
replaced one sensor, for a very high price, but the lights came on again after a
few months. Do not trust a dealer to go back to for this. Any suggestions?

All I can do is tell you to check for applicable trouble codes relating to tpms. Then maybe I can post meaning of codes? The codes I saw were C type codes, manufacturer specific codes. You would need a code reader that will work with your vehicle and will check manufacturer specific codes not just po codes. As far as relearning that may take a special tool, that I don't have. A scanner or something that can communicate with tpms on your vehicle. Sorry, that's all I know.
