What's your definition of low miles?

Low miles are low miles. I don't care if they were all in one year or spread out over 20 years. By that definition a "low mile" 50's car could have close to a million miles on it. I would rather have a 1 year old car with 40k on it than a 20 year old car with 40k.
F_O_R-. Actually, I agree with you 100 percent... but, I know someone that says that having ultra low miles, like 50 or 60,000, on a 20 years old car means that the parts are not as worn as a car that is 5 or 7 years old with 100,000 to 125,000 miles. SO, how do you argue with someone with this logic???? I have tried to explain why time and the environment takes its toll but nothing works.
COMETGUY61- sure, ZERO???? You can't even find that on a brand new car!
Mark - a car with half as many miles should have half the wear. Things that time takes its toll on like rubber seals are another thing.
